About PSOP
The Photographic Society of Pakistan (PSOP) promotes the art and science of “photography” as a mean of communication, image appreciation and cultural exchange along with the provision of education, information, inspiration and opportunity to all persons interested in photography. The word “Photography” shall mean the Art or Science of the recording of light or other radiation on any medium on which an image is produced. This includes still photography, videography, Vlogging and film making using any kind of recording devices. The society will be a non-political body.

The Photographic Society Photographic Society of Pakistan of Pakistan (PSOP) aims to bring within its fold and to coordinate the activities of various photographic Associations, Clubs and societies in Pakistan, working to foster encourage and promote the interest in Art and / or the Science of Photography in all its aspects and the applications thereof. The Photographic Society of Pakistan (PSOP) will facilitate exchange of ideas and experience, and encourage and assist members in their photographic endeavors.

The objects of PSOP are to educate members of PSOP the public by increasing their knowledge and understanding of Photography and in doing so to promote the highest standards of achievement in Photography in order to encourage public appreciation of Pakistan Photography Photography.
